KIEV, Oct. 13 – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon have discussed the possibility of creating new mechanisms to facilitate the United Nations' involvement in efforts to settle the situation in Donbas, Ukraine's Foreign Ministry announced.

"UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon assured [Ukraine] of his complete support of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine and announced his readiness to enhance the organization's presence with the aim of de-escalating and stabilizing the situation in the east of Ukraine," the ministry said.
