ASTANA, Oct. 9 – Kazakhstan's companies have expressed their interest in the privatization of Ukrainian energy enterprises, Energy and Coal Industry Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Demchyshyn said.
"The Kazakh side is interested in the privatization of Ukrainian energy companies. These include energy companies, because they [the Kazakh side] have great experience in their maintenance and coal supply, and they are also interested in power grids. Yesterday, they expressed interest in our regional power companies, which were put up for privatization, as well as to heating utilities. That is, they are very interested in heating infrastructure," he told reporters in Astana on Friday.
