KIEV, Feb. 7 - The share of foreign capital in Ukraine's banking system has grown to 23% from 19.5% since the beginning of 2006, First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine Anatoly Shapovalov said Tuesday.

The increase of foreign capital came about through the sale of stakes in Kharkiv's UkrSibbank and Kiev's Mriya Bank, he said.
