KIEV, Feb. 6 ??“ Golden Telecom Ltd., one of the leading integrated telecommunication services providers in Ukraine, will appeal against a decision by the State Tax Administration on VAT on payments to the Pension Fund, a company spokesperson said.

Marianna Konina told Interfax-Ukraine, Golden Telecom applied to the Kiev Economic Court on Feb. 1. On Jan. 23, the company received the decision of the Tax Administration on its demands for VAT on payments to the Pension Fund in the period from January 2002 through June 2004.
