KIEV, Sept. 24 – EnergoAtom President Yuriy Nedashkovsky said there are no legal grounds for Russia to file a claim over Ukraine denouncing the intergovernmental agreement on the construction of reactor three and reactor four of Khmelnytsky nuclear power plant.
"There was the intergovernmental agreement, although its denouncement does not entail the submission of any claim, as it is in line with the procedures for signing these international agreements. These sanctions are not foreseen. Our lawyer and the lawyers of the Justice Ministry studied the issue," he told reporters in Kiev on Wednesday.
Nedashkovsky said that three packages of documents were to be signed as part of the intergovernmental agreement. EnergoAtom signed one of them – the contract.
