SIMFEROPOL, Sept. 23 – Crimea has not yet experienced negative consequences of the September 20 halt of the supply of Ukrainian goods to the peninsula, Sergei Aksyonov, the head of Crimea's government, said.
"I am in a good mood and I think all people of Crimea are [in a good mood] too. There is no massive increase in prices. There is information that our Crimean speculators are illegally overstating prices on some products, the Industry Policy and Trade Ministry is working on these issues. But the number of such situations is negligible," Aksyonov told reporters, responding to a question from Interfax in Simferopol on Wednesday.
