KIEV, Sept. 18 - British mining company Ferrexpo Plc with main assets in Ukraine after the payment of the interim dividend as of September 16, had total cash balance of approximately $280 million, and of this cash balance, approximately $174 million of which was held at Bank Finance and Credit, which belongs to its majority shareholder.

The National Bank of Ukraine on September 17 placed the bank in the category of insolvent banks.

The group's operations are not currently affected by the NBU's decision.
