KIEV, Sept. 16 – Ukraine is prepared for the possible introduction of a trade embargo by Russia after the economic provisions of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union become effective, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said.
"[Firstly,] we clearly declare that the agreement will enter into force. Secondly, Ukraine is part of the European economic area. Thirdly, we are ready if the embargo has been introduced. And fourthly, we will give a decent response if Russia has not repealed its resolution to introduce the embargo," Yatseniuk said at a government meeting on Wednesday.
