KIEV, Sept. 11 - EnergoAtom in January-August increased electricity production by 1.7% (by 983.6 million kilowatt-hours) year-over-year, to 57.574 billion kWh, the press service of the company has said.

The target was over-fulfilled by 2.7%.

Electricity sales on the wholesale market during the reporting period totaled 54.162 billion kWh compared to 53.086 billion kWh year-over-year. The EnergoAtom’s share of total electricity sold to Energomarket state enterprise was 56.6% and the share of total electricity generation in the country was 55%.
