KIEV, Sept. 10 – Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said he is hoping that the European Union will not take into account issues relating to the new wave of migration to Europe when deciding on the issue of granting a visa-free regime to Ukraine.
"The liberalization of the visa regime for Ukrainians, to be more precise a visa-free regime for Ukrainians, is another real result of European integration that can be achieved. We are now going through technical missions with the EU and I hope that the decision on granting a visa-free regime to Ukraine will not have political aspects, including those related to the wave of migration to the EU," he said at a press conference he gave jointly with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fiko in Bratislava on Thursday.
