KIEV, Sept. 9 – The National Bank of Ukraine has projected that inflation in 2016 would be 12%, in 2017 – 8%, and in 2019 – 5%, NBU Governor Valeriya Gontareva said at a meeting with bankers.
"The situation with inflation is under control. We have deflation in the past months. Next year we forecast that inflation would be 12%, for 2017 – 8% and 2019 – 5%," the press service said, citing Gontareva.
She also said that the banking system today is hyper-liquid.
