KIEV, Feb. 1 - The Finance Ministry and Ukrainian companies and banks raised $4.89 billion on international markets through Eurobonds and unguaranteed credits in 2005, up 34% from the previous year, according to Ukrsotsbank report.
The amount of resources raised grew from quarter to quarter in 2005, the experts said, citing tentative Finance Ministry figures. There was $150 million raised in the first quarter, $750 million in the second, $1.42 billion in the third and $2.58 billion in the fourth.
