KIEV, Aug 17 - Cargill, the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority and M.V. Cargo LLC have signed a tripartite memorandum of intent to realize an investment project in Yuzhny seaport (Odessa region).
According to Ukraine's Ministry of Infrastructure, the document was signed by Cargill CEO Martin Schuldt, Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority Chairman Andriy Amelin and M.V. Cargo Director Oleksandr Prymak.
The document confirms Cargill's intention to acquire 51% in a transshipment terminal, which M.V. Cargo stevedoring company will build in Yuzhny seaport. Under the terms of the memorandum, before construction the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority undertakes to establish water area on the way to the terminal with an appropriate level of dredging.
