KIEV, Aug. 13 – Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei during a meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko expressed concern over the worsening situation in Donbas and violation of the Minsk deals and stressed that Belarus is ready to help Ukraine peacefully settle the conflict, the president's press service said.
Makei said that Ukraine had nothing to fear from Belarus. "Ukraine is our good neighbor, with which we have a long border extension. Believe us, we want for this border to be a border of peace and consent, but not a border of discord and hatred," the Belarusian diplomat aid.
