KIEV, Aug. 12 – The European Union welcomes the re-launch of the nomination of the selection panel to form the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption in Ukraine, Deputy Head of EU Delegation to Ukraine Thomas Frellesen said.

"We very much welcome the constructive role played by everyone concerned and the leading by [Justice] Minister [Pavlo] Petrenko in finding a solution [to the nomination process of the Agency's selection panel]. The agency would be an important pillar of the anti-corruption institutional system," he said at a briefing in Kiev on Wednesday.
