KIEV, Jan. 31 - HeidelbergCement Group, a major German cement producer, plans to merge two of its biggest companies in Ukraine to cut costs and improve efficiency, one company official said Tuesday.

The merger will involve Kryvy Rih Cement and Dniprocement, both located in the Dnipropetrovsk region, and will be completed before the end of June, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
