KIEV, Aug. 10 – President Petro Poroshenko has vetoed the bill on internal affairs agencies adopted by Parliament on July 2.
The president made this decision after a meeting with the participation of Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Turchynov and Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, Poroshenko's website reported on Friday.
"Some of the issues, which the said document is expected to solve, are within the competence of the government, and the others have already been resolved through other legal acts," the statement explained.
