KIEV, Aug. 7 – The extension of U.S. sanctions against Russia and the inclusion of the structures of Russia's Vnesheconombank into the sanction list will not impact the business operations of Vnesheconombank's Ukrainian subsidiary, Kiev-based Prominvestbank, Prominvestbank said on its website.
"The [sanction-based] restrictions concern transactions with legal entities and individuals that are engaged in economic and other activities in Crimea. In keeping with requirements of government agencies, the bank doesn't work in Crimea and has no assets or customers in this region," Prominvestbank said.
