KIEV, Aug. 6 – President Petro Poroshenko has noted the necessity of further measures on de-escalation of the situation in eastern Ukraine with U.S. support, as well as the necessity to continue cyber security and military cooperation.
"The Head of State expressed gratitude to the U.S. for consistent and strong support. He also noted the necessity of further steps for the de-escalation of the situation and the implementation of measures previously agreed by the parties in security, humanitarian and political spheres," the President's press service reported on the results of his meeting with a delegation from the U.S. Congress headed by Minority Leader of the United States House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi.
