KIEV, Aug. 4 – President Poroshenko has signed the law officially establishing Ukraine's national police.
"[Poroshenko] signed the law on police, the new police," his twitter account said on Tuesday.
As reported, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Groysman recently signed the bill law on the National Police (No. 2822) and sent it to the president for signature.
The Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill defining the legal basis for the creation and functioning of the National Police of Ukraine and the status of police officers on July 2.
