KIEV, July 31 – The U.S. will continue to assist Ukraine's economy and to train the country's armed forces, U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt said.
"We are going to continue to provide a number of non-lethal systems, including UAVs and Humvees," Pyatt said in an interview with Donbas public TV.
Pyatt said that the U.S. has deployed a broad range of security assistance, which has now reached $244 million. "And I was especially encouraged when I met today with the leadership of the ATO Command to hear how effectively they have been able to use the U.S. provided counter mortar radar systems," Pyatt said.
