KIEV, July 17 – The business court of Kiev has denied claims of private joint-stock company UkrGaz-Energo to 3.993 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas in Ukrtransgaz underground gas storage facilities.
The decision is stipulated in court ruling of July 7, a copy of which has been sent to Interfax-Ukraine.
UkrGaz-Energo can file a counterclaim.
The dispute between the companies has been lasted since July 2012. Initially, some courts ruled out in favor of UkrGaz-Energo, while in December 2014 the Supreme Court of Ukraine revoked the ruling of the higher business court of Ukraine of December 18, 2012 and transferred the case to court of appeals.
