KIEV, July 15 - Ukraine will double natural gas output within the next five years after new deals with foreign investors and plans to slash royalties on gas output by half, a government official said Wednesday.

Naftogaz Ukrayiny, the national energy company, signed a two-year memorandum with Frontera Resources Corporation, an international oil and gas exploration and production company, Naftogaz said in a statement.
