KIEV, July 10 – The Crimean Tatars must be involved in all international meetings related to the future of Crimea and its people, Crimean Tartar leaders said.

"All international meetings, talks and agreements held to settle the global crisis caused by Russia's aggression against Ukraine and Crimea's occupation must include the demand for the de-occupation of Crimea and regaining Ukraine's sovereignty over the peninsula. The Mejlis of Crimean Tatar People should participate in all the meetings, talks and agreements related to the future of Crimean and the Crimean Tatar People," Mejlis Chairman Refat Chubarov wrote on Facebook on Friday.

He said this was discussed at a meeting with diplomats accredited in Ukraine which was held in the residence of the Italian Ambassador to Ukraine on Friday.
