KIEV, July 7 – European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission) President Gianni Buquicchio believes that the draft of amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine, which has been submitted for consideration by the parliament, maintains the current balance of powers between the president, the government, and the parliament.

"The draft largely maintains the current balance of powers between the president, Cabinet of Ministers and parliament. This is probably the only realistic approach in current circumstances," he said in an exclusive interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
