KIEV, July 7 – President Petro Poroshenko is currently meeting with Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev, who is on an official visit to Ukraine.

"The head of state expressed his gratitude to his Bulgarian colleague for reliable and constant support for Ukraine, which defends its independence and sovereignty," the president's press service reported.

"Thank you for upholding the position of Ukraine on the prolongation of sanctions, ensuring the energy independence of Ukraine and bilateral cooperation in the economic and military-technical sphere," Poroshenko said.
