KIEV, Jan. 26 ??“ Ukraine on Friday will destroy its last remaining long-range strategic bomber Tu-22M3 and a set of cruise missiles that it had inherited from the former Soviet Union, the Defense Ministry said Thursday.

Ukraine pledged to destroy all 60 strategic bombers it had inherited since 1991 as part of a disarmament initiative that is financed by the U.S. since 1993.
