KIEV, July 3 – President Petro Poroshenko after a meeting with Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski in Lviv on Thursday expressed the hope for the further development of relations between the two countries.
"The negotiations were productive and constructive," the Ukrainian president's press service quoted Poroshenko as saying.
During the talks, the presidents discussed the issue of bilateral cooperation and coordination of actions with the EU. Poroshenko expressed confidence that strategic relations between the two countries will develop further. The Ukrainian president recalled that the draft constitutional amendments on decentralization were based on the Polish experience, and efficient cooperation with Polish experts facilitated positive evaluation of the decentralization process by the Venice Commission.
