KIEV, July 3 – Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has noted the importance of the support provided to Ukraine in defense, military and technical, and financial areas and stressed the importance of further deepening of military cooperation with the United States, the presidential press service reported.

At a meeting with a delegation from the U.S. Congress, Poroshenko said that the delegation's visit to Ukraine on the eve of the Independence Day of the U.S., as well as the meeting of the OSCE PA is a strong symbol of strategic partnership between the two countries.
