KIEV, June 19 – Several promising projects have been selected as part of a scientific program to increase Ukraine's defense and security and realization of the projects has begun, National Academy of Science President Borys Paton said.

"Since 2015 within the general financing of the Academy we set the initial stage of the targeted scientific program on problems of increasing defense and security. The realization of the most promising projects selected at a tender has been started," Paton said during a meeting of leading Ukrainian scientists with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
