LVIV, Jan. 25 - Russia's ban on imports of Ukrainian livestock products was politically motivated and should be resolved as soon as next week, Agriculture Minister Oleksandr Baranivsky said.

Ukraine has been facing monthly losses of $60 mln for its dairy sector and $15 mln for the meat sector due to the ban on imports posed by Russia on Jan. 20.
