ASTANA, Jan. 25 - Kazakh national oil and gas company KazMunaiGaz and Ukrainian company Naftogaz Ukrayiny signed a memorandum of mutual understanding and a confidentiality agreement on Wednesday.

KazMunaiGaz said in a press release that according to the memorandum both companies should analyze the potential of the Kulandy structure in the Kazakh sector of the Aral Sea, to draw up conditions for joint exploration work.
