KIEV, June 12 - Ukrainian metal companies cut investment in retrofitting and upgrading by 10.7% or UAH 177 million in January-March 2015 year-over-year, to UAH 1.48 billion.
According to the analytical survey for Q1 2015 drawn up the Metallurgprom association (Dnipropetrovsk), ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Zaporishstal and Dzerzhynsky Steel Works made the largest capital investment over the period.
Investment per ton of steel totaled UAH 295 in Q1 2015 compared to UAH 227 in Q1 2014.
