ODESSA, June 4 – Former Georgian leader Mikheil Saakashvili, who now heads Odessa Regional Administration, vowed to use his full resources to fight corruption.
"Yes, I will need the help of the president and he promised me it. Here there is a large resource. First, this concerns the reduction of corruption," Saakashvili said on Fifth TV Channel on Wednesday.
He gave as an example tenders to repair roads in the region where two companies that use machinery involving state officials won, although everyone received contracts.
