KIEV, May 29 – Ukraine and the United States plan to jointly fight violation of copyrights online in Ukraine in 2016, the Ukrainian-U.S. Trade and Investment Council (TIC) said in a statement after holding its fifth meeting in Kiev.

"We hope to continue cooperation next year with the purpose of stopping violation of copyrights and related rights on the Internet in Ukraine. The proper protection of intellectual property would benefit both Ukrainian and U.S. inventors, creators and people of art," reads the statement posted on the website of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry.
