YEKATERINBURG, May 25 – VSMPO-Avisma has signed a new one-year contract for ilmenite purchases with Ukraine's Vilnohirsk mining and processing complex (GOK).

GOK plans to start supplying raw materials in June. The company did not specify delivery volumes.

A company spokesman said that the Ukrainian company is not the only supplier of ilmenite to VSMPO-Avisma, and that the corporation buys part of the raw materials in Australia. He did not specify the share of ilmenite supplies from Vilnohirsk GOK.
