KIEV, May 25 – Donbasenergo has suspended the operation of Sloviansk thermal power plant (Donetsk region) due to the absence of funds to buy fuel.

"As of May 25, 2015, electricity generation was suspended at Sloviansk TPP. Due to some illegal resolutions of NCER [National Commission of Ukraine on Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation, starting from February 2015] public JSC Donbasenergo faces a critical financial situation," the company said.
