KIEV, May 14 – President Petro Poroshenko and French President Francois Hollande have started a meeting in Aachen by discussing measures to de-escalate the situation in eastern Ukraine and the upcoming Eastern Partnership summit in Riga.

"Poroshenko and Hollande are discussing de-escalation steps in Donbas and issues on the Riga summit agenda," Ukrainian presidential spokesman Sviatoslav Tseholko said on Twitter, attaching a picture of the two presidents having a conversation.
