KIEV, May 12 - The Ukrainian parliament has backed an appeal to the Dutch parliament to help return the Scythian gold to Ukraine.

The appeal was supported by 249 deputies on Tuesday.

The relevant draft resolution was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada by independent deputy Serhiy Taruta, by Iryna Podoliak of the Samopomich (Self-Reliance) party faction and by Viktor Yelensky of the People's Front faction.
