KIEV, May 12 – The United Nations will open an office in Ukraine to support Minsk agreements regarding the settling of the situation in eastern Ukraine, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said.
"I want to emphasize that during the visit of UN Secretary General [to Ukraine] we agreed that the UN support office will be opened here and it will help effectively ensuring the implementation of Minsk agreements," Poroshenko said on Monday during a visit to the Ukrainian Ground Forces Training Center Desna in Chernihiv region.
