KIEV, May 8 - The Cabinet of Ministers has promulgated a decree which defines monthly wages for persons holding managerial positions and the posts of investigators for particularly important cases in the main investigation department of the Interior Ministry, who are engaged in pre-trial investigation into criminal cases on corruption.

This is stipulated in Cabinet resolution No. 260 dated April 7.

"Allow the Interior Minister to pay remuneration to the persons of the commanding staff and those holding managerial positions and the posts of investigators for particularly important cases in the main investigation department of the Interior Ministry and carrying out pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings on corruption and other serious and very serious crimes. Establish that the wage of the persons indicated in paragraph one of the decision, taking into account remuneration, cannot exceed UAH 30,000 per month," reads the document.
