KIEV, May 8 – The economic part of EU-Ukraine Association agreement will come into effect without delays, Economic Development and Trade Minister Aivaras Abromavicius said during a working visit to Brussels.
"We named our positions: free trade agreement with the EU comes into effect on January 1, 2016 and won't be delayed," Abromavicius said on Twitter.
According to Abromavicius, Ukraine insists on opening the access to EU markets for our goods and on extending the market for goods that are already on the market, but there are quotas.
"We expect more help from the EU to our small and medium business via the access to more inexpensive credits, education programs, etc… Joint customs and border checkpoints with EU neighbors will stimulate trade and fight against corruption," the minister added.
