KIEV, May 6 – Ukrainian steelmakers saw a 30% decline in output in January-April 2015, year-over-year, to 7.085 million tons.
The output of general rolled products in the period under review fell by 31%, to 6.180 million tons, while production of pig iron decreased by 32%, 6.429 million tons, Dnipropetrovsk-based Metallurgprom association told Interfax-Ukraine.
Pipe production decreased by 29%, to 289,000 tons, that of coke fell by 42%, to 3.290 million tons.
