KIEV, April 27 - The total sum of wage arrears in Ukraine in March 2015 saw a 2.7% rise, the State Statistics Service reported.

According to the service, wage arrears on April 1, 2015 amounted to UAH 1.617 billion, or 5% of the monthly wage fund for March, while as of early 2015 it was 22.5%.

As of April 1, 2015, the wage arrears of economically active enterprises, establishments, and organizations totaled UAH 1.148 billion, those of economically inactive entities UAH 152.397 million; and the debts of bankrupt enterprises were UAH 316.965 million.
