KIEV, April 20 - Ukraine's integrated power grids decreased electricity output by 12.8% or by 6.578 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) year-over-year in Q1, to 44.745 billion kWh, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry reported.
Nuclear power plants decreased electricity output by 0.01%, to 23.742 billion kWh.
Zaporizhia nuclear power plant saw a rise of 2.3% in electricity generation year-over-year, to 10.078 billion kWh, Yuzhnoukrainsk nuclear power plants decreased output by 31.4%, to 4.286 billion kWh, Rivne nuclear power plant increased production by 19.3%, to 5.314 billion kWh, and Khmelnytsky nuclear power plant saw a 27% decrease, to 4.065 billion kWh over the period under review.
