KIEV, Jan. 20 - Ukraine reduced exports of natural gas as it increased domestic consumption after a spell of cold weather had hit the country, Energy and Fuel Minister Ivan Plachkov said Friday.

Exports of gas moving from Russia to Europe via Ukrainian pipelines have fallen by 60 million cubic meters a day, while domestic consumption has increased by 70 million cubic meters a day, Plachkov said.
