KIEV, April 17 – Ukraine saw a 1% rise in imports of aluminum ore and concentrate (bauxites) in physical terms year-on-year in Q1, to 1.054 million tons.

During this period, imports of bauxite in monetary terms fell by 8%, to $41.361 million, according to the Ukraine State Fiscal Service.

Most bauxite imports originated from Guinea (73.89% of total imports in monetary terms) and Guyana (25.02%).
