KIEV, April 9 - Poland will grant Ukraine a credit worth EUR 100 million, a part of which will be spent to arrange the border, and another portion – to modernize thermal power plants, President Petro Poroshenko said.
"I would like to express gratitude to Mr. President [Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski] for that decision to grant a credit in an amount of EUR 100 million, of which EUR 50 million to be spent for the construction of the border crossing points, including setting up of the joint crossing points so to save time making serious and powerful anti-corruption steps so that both Ukrainian and Polish border guards to make a control at one checkpoint," the president said at a briefing after meeting the Polish leader in Kiev on Wednesday.
