President pushing for Rada curtailment of the right to bail
Journal Staff Report

KIEV, April 3 – President Petro Poroshenko hopes that Parliament will back a bill on the abolition of right to bail for people who committed grave crimes and corrupt officials.

"The head of state has called for considering the bill on the abolition of a monetary bail for those who committed grave crimes and were involved in corruption to prevent the criminals from being released on bail. The head of state noted that he counts on the support of the parliamentary coalition in this matter," the president's press service reported the results of Poroshenko's working meeting with the heads of factions of the parliamentary coalition on Friday.
