KIEV, April 4 - President Petro Poroshenko said he plans to press ahead on local elections in Ukraine to be held in fall 2015.

"Decentralization envisages the transfer of the lion's portion of powers to territorial communities, which I hope will eventually happen after the local elections, which should be held on October 25."
